Parking
The parking lot is a "common element" and spaces are available to residents of The Madison Condominium (for parking purposes) on a first-come, first-served basis (i.e., there are no individually assigned spots).
In general, the parking area may not be used for any purpose other than the parking of personal automobiles, motorcycles and light-duty pickup trucks. No buses, trucks, campers, trailers, boats or commercial vehicles are to be parked in our lot or in the driveways. All vehicles must have current plates, tags and decals and be in operating condition.
Vehicle maintenance, with the exception of routine maintenance, is prohibited. "Routine Maintenance" is defined as work that does not require an experienced mechanic. Examples include topping off fluids; changing tires; replacing filters, light bulbs, and spark plugs; or any work that can be done with commonly available tools in less than one hour. All work done on vehicles will be done in an environmentally correct manner. Drop cloths will be used to prevent damage to the property and all vehicle waste products will be removed from the property in sealed containers taken to the appropriate disposal facility. Under no circumstance will items such as empty oil cans, oily rags and empty anti-freeze containers be thrown in the Association trash receptacles.
During snowstorms, please respect the work of others — do not park in a spot that you have not cleared. If you have guests coming during daytime hours, clear a spot for them yourself and make sure they park in that spot. For more information, see "Winter Weather Parking." (Read more »)
